My name is Ron Cook, owner of Close-Up Home Inspection. In 1993, I completed an extensive home inspection course with the International Correspondence School of Home Inspection. After completing school, I apprenticed with a home inspection company for two years. During that time, I joined the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI).

In 1995, I established my own company, Close-Up Professional Home Inspection. Since then, I have inspected more than 10,000 houses. The type of properties I inspect include single and multi-family homes, as well as condominiums & town houses.

I enjoy going to work every day and helping people make a wise decision about their biggest investment. I take pride in my work and make sure I do the very best for my clients. I spend a great deal of time with my customers explaining how a house works and how to maintain your house. I make every effort to ensure my customers feel comfortable and feel free to ask questions throughout the inspection process. Additionally, my clients may feel free to call me anytime after the inspection is complete or in some cases after moving into the property if for any reason they have a question.

I use a state-of-the-art reporting system, as well as the latest most sophisticated tools and equipment at my inspections. My reports are done onsite on a tablet, in color including digital photos taken throughout the inspection. I email reports within two hours after conducting the inspection. My report also includes a comprehensive summary of problem areas at the end of each inspection report.

At the end of the inspection I know my customers received the very best service possible at their home inspection.
